چکیده
Rabbit breeds in Egypt are local and adapted foreign that have been imported since the middle of last century. Stressful environmental conditions including climatic changes, exposure to diseases breeding selection an influence on how gene flow has shaped genetic diversity breeds. Mitochondrial DNA D-loop is a marker used trace geographic distribution variation for investigation expansions, migrations other patterns. The study aimed determine mitochondrial (mtDNA D-loop) Black Baladi, Red Gabali, APRI line New Zealand gather scientific data required create proper conservation sustainable management plan. Blood samples were taken from animals unrelated each other. A 332-bp mtDNA was successfully amplified alignment sequences deposited GenBank database. results detected six haplotypes five Haplotype within individual varied 0 (Red Baladi) 0.551±0.114 (Gabali). nucleotide (π) value relatively low (0.001-0.006), with greater values Zealand. Pairwise distances between yielded varying ranging 0.254, Baladi comparatively high, pairwise 0.172 0.254. phylogenetic analysis involved 74 Egyptian rabbit thirty-one retrieved reference different haplogroups. correlated database showed grouped into A, B K. using shed light importance breed’s information revealed unique haplotypes, which important finding strategies designed conserve variants provide management.

D-loop haplotype diversity in Brazilian horse breeds
The first horses were brought to Brazil by the colonizers after 1534. Over the centuries, these animals evolved and adapted to local environmental conditions usually unsuitable for exotic breeds, thereby originating locally adapted Brazilian breeds. The present work represents the first description of maternal genetic diversity in these horse breeds based on D-loop sequences. A D-Loop HSV-I fra...
متن کاملWhole-loop mitochondrial DNA D-loop sequence variability in Egyptian Arabian equine matrilines
BACKGROUND Egyptian Arabian horses have been maintained in a state of genetic isolation for over a hundred years. There is only limited genetic proof that the studbook records of female lines of Egyptian Arabian pedigrees are reliable. This study characterized the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) signatures of 126 horses representing 14 matrilines in the Egyptian Agricultural Organization (EAO) horse-...
متن کاملThe genetic diversity of chicken breeds from Jiangxi, assessed with BCDO2 and the complete mitochondrial DNA D-loop region
The Jiangxi Province of China has numerous native domestic chicken breeds, including some black skin breeds. The genetic diversity of Jiangxi native chickens is largely unknown, and specifically, the genetic contribution of the grey junglefowl to black skin chickens is not well understood. To address these questions, the complete D-loop region of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and beta-carotene ...
متن کاملSequence Variations of Mitochondrial DNA Displacement-Loop in Iranian Indigenous Sheep Breeds
Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) has been used extensively to study population genetics because it has the unique features of maternal inheritance, a relatively fast rate of evolution and lack of recombination. A total of 82 unrelated sheep from 10 Iranian indigenous sheep breeds were investigated to determinate the maternal genetic diversity using a sequence of a 685 bp segment of the displacement lo...

objective: pompe disease is a rare neuromuscular genetic disorder and is classified into two forms of early and late-onset. over the past two decades, mitochondrial abnormalities have been recognized as an important contributor to an array of neuromuscular diseases. we therefore aimed to compare mitochondrial copy number and mitochondrial displacement-loop sequence variation in infantile and ad...
